Welcome to our New Blog!

We are so glad you are here. We have moved from our other blogging home to this one for the 2014-2015 school year.

Our theme for the year is CREATE BRAVELY!

There are lots of ways to create. We can create with words, with pictures and drawings, or with music. Some people like to create with technology, others with building tools. We create with our bodies and with our minds.

There are some things that we need in order to create. We need to be thinkers and ask questions. We need to be wonderers. We need to work with others. We need to feel okay about making mistakes and use those mistakes to learn. We need to sit back and think over what we've done and use it in the future. We need to share our creation with others.

We all have something special to share with the world. As Kid President says in this video, we are all extraordinary, and we can all be heroes.

Great to see your new class blog and while I am bias I do think that Blogger has made an improvement. Realise that you are on your holidays at the moment but would love to connect with your classroom when yourself and your students are active and online again.

  2. Mr. Webb,

Thank you for your kind words. One of my goals over the summer was to evaluate blogging platforms and determine the best host for our blog. While I think Edublogs is great, Blogger is just a better fit. I have more work to do, but I'm very excited about the switch.

I would also love to connect with your classroom once school gets started again. I look forward to it!
